Outreach

Truman faculty are dedicated not only to the Truman campus, but also are active members of the larger civic community.  This is manifested under different guises and at different times during the year.  For example, many of our faculty and staff take part in demonstrations at local and regional schools, invest time in proselytizing current and relevant information to the general public and civic organizations, and organize outings (like the Christmas bird count) that are both beneficial to the larger biological community and are just plain fun!
